The Book, The Way, The Craft

The book of Hin the book of Du; the book of Mor, M, and On; the book of Chris with the last initial T, the book of Go and D; the way of T, A, and O; the way to Nirv and Ana; which craft is arc kraft, do you know’a ark? The weigh side or the rite side? Rot whey is not white? Pray I  “x” hell before the sleeper dubs me a good knight.

Homeward Bound

One day my soul will no longer be bound by skin and bone, nor will it be confined by the deceptions of my mind.

Homeward Bound

The Truth

The mind is riddled with social constructs and remains in a constant query searching for Truth. Only letting go of all we think we know will allow us to truly see the simplicity.

Eye of the Day

As we rapaciously press forward, determined to reach our goals that will make all of our dreams come true, we slowly but surely come into a collective state of numbness. Similar to but opposite of what the Buddha call Nirvana, a blissful state of detachment or no-thing-ness, we are submerged and drowning in a state of every-thing-ness, traveling further from what is true. Regardless of whether or not we stop to contemplate the very essence of our existence as one with everything, that does not cease it from actually existing.

Those who pick and choose draw lines when there are no lines. To remove the lines of distinction between this and that erases the black and white, and the gray; without defined boundaries all is transparent. Holding on to the finest of differences keeps us separate. To realize no differences is to acknowledge everything as one. The Truth simply is what it is. Having an opinion of it; to like or dislike it, is to agree or not to agree; is resisting the very essence of it – good or bad does not a difference make, it is still, simply the Truth.

Words cannot carry it. Language fails to describe its existence. The constructs of man are too limited, bounded by the confinements of inherited knowledge, to fathom such an enduring essence. It is the utmost basic, miniscule, foundation; more diminutive than physics. Yet it also engulfs the endless edges of all actuality. It is the reason behind question but without answer. People may think it but they don’t know it. People may seek it but they don’t find it. They rush to it but run over it. It is a gumption that’s never mustered, kept in a safe place for later but forgotten. Imagined but without design and misplaced but here all the time. To pursue understanding it, is to pass it by. It cannot be sought after or taught. For how can one search for, or learn of, what one already has or knows?

Undressing the World

Undressing the world as I would undress myself and still I do not know it better than I know myself naked. Digging into the earth and under my skin, still my search is devoid of the treasure I seek. Listening or reading others’ thoughts may lead me this way or that, but believing in them is a sure fire way to end up back where I started. My path is like that of a maze, but without the reward of cheese. It soothes my mind, what I think my mind to be, to give up the conquest of tomorrow and live simply in today. Without worries of the past or planning of the future; minus this belief or law; withdrawing from concepts of what they said or how they did it – I am free to explore boundless realms of being and not being. I do not wish to expire chasing man-made knowledge that continues in circles. Perhaps, had I not learned man’s language to begin with, today I would be freer.

Why Was it so Hard for Adam and Eve to Obey?

To obey means “to comply with or follow the commands, restrictions, wishes, or instructions of…” another; having only ONE commandment to obey seems quite easy, and for years many have criticized both Adam and Eve for not obeying God’s one and only commandment, “…but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die”.

The Explanation for their disobedience is just as simple as having only one rule to follow. So obvious in fact that it is often overlooked.

God made Adam and Eve. They were untainted by knowledge and innocent; but lacking knowledge they were also ignorant. Devoid of knowledge, which one can only gain from learning, Eve and Adam were left defenseless against their God-given human nature to be inquisitive and adaptable. God expected the fruit to be bitten. Otherwise, it would not have existed in the first place. So do not be mistaken; it was always God’s intention.
